Brainspotting can be an efficient treatment tool for healing a wide variety of psychological, emotional, and somatic conditions. This workshop is designed to teach psychotherapists about the appropriate use of Brainspotting in clinical work.

Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate a working understanding of Brainspotting as well as when and how to use it in psychotherapy.
  • Understand how utilizing Brainspotting differs from using EMDR.
  • List four essential factors from case studies to determine if Brainspotting is an appropriate approach for clients who seek psychotherapy.

Presenter Bio

Jeffry Jeanetta-Wark is the founder and Clinical Director of the Center for Integrated Well-Being, Inc. (CIWB), a holistic psychotherapy practice in Roseville, Minnesota. He is a senior level social worker, a holistic psychotherapist, and an educator with almost 30 years of experience. Jeffry is certified in the use of Brainspotting, and has been using it for three years in his private practice. He currently presents to social service, and mental health facilities on the following: The Clinical Use of Brainspotting; Best Practices in Working with Men in Therapy; & Turning Distress and Trauma into Post Traumatic Growth Opportunities.

    To earn 2 CE credits (recorded, non-interactive), you must watch the entire video. You will not be able to fast-forward or rewind.
  • During the video will be 3 slides with a keyword. The keyword will be on the screen for 20 seconds. Write the keywords down as you will be asked what the keywords are in the survey
  • Certificates of completion will be provided once the video reaches 100% watched, after you mark each lesson "complete" and after submitting the survey. This webinar is setup as a digital course and the course needs to be "100% complete" in order for the completion certificate to unlock. Once the PDF is available, please save it to your computer.
