Presenter Bio

Katie Gilder, MPH, RD, LD Katie has worked for the last 13 years in multiple settings, and has experience with adolescents and families as well as adults. She has specialized in helping adolescents and young adults with eating disorders for the past 10 years, and has extensive training and experience in supporting families with FBT(TAY) and believes in individualizing care for clients and families. She works to help people find the food philosophy that works for them and improve their relationship with food through a Health At Every Size lens. Katie loves to bust those diet-culture myths, helping her clients develop media-literacy around the diet and exercise industry. Katie enjoys grocery shopping (of course), soaking up sunshine, practicing yoga, and trying new restaurants in her free time. Kelly Pertzsch, MA, LPCC Kelly has spent her entire career working to help clients accept themselves just as they are. She understands that at times life can become overwhelming and difficult to manage, and that our culture and systems of oppression can deeply impact their belief that they are incomplete. She feels strongly that therapy is an integral part of the process of believing that they are already whole. Kelly specializes in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and helping clients to develop new narratives to replace those that have limited them. She is particularly passionate about helping those who struggle in their relationship with food and their body, and works from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective. She also enjoys working with young adults to navigate the journey of becoming independent adults.
