This will be a live webinar on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 6-8 PM Central Time. You can register to attend live or pre-register to view the recording which will be available after November 9. All registrations include 12 months of access and two CEUs.
In this presentation, participants will receive an overview of the goals of “grief therapy”, as well as the neuroscience of grief. We will define what grief is, means, and can look like. We will explore what complicates grief, and ways to assess factors that could complicate or ease grief.
An exploration of possible interventions will be a part of this presentation, though we will work to amplify connections that could help you look through the lens of your own modalities and how to use them as interventions to attend to grief. We will also talk about the grief we as clinicians experience when we lose a client, whether that is through death, termination, or anywhere in between. Considerations around confidentiality, connection, moral injury, and connection to burnout will also be discussed.
