Alex is a licensed therapist and board-approved supervisor. Alex has worked in a wide range of clinical settings including community, inpatient, residential, and outpatient clinics. She has also spent several years providing supervision and training for pre-licensed therapists, and was the co-creator and facilitator of a nine-month therapist development program at one of Minnesota’s largest mental health providers. Alex began incorporating ketamine into her practice in 2023, undergoing training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) through Polaris Insight Center in San Francisco and at the Intero Psychedelic Therapy clinic in Minneapolis. Alex has also completed an eight-week training in Buddhism and Psychedelics, as well as intensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy- informed KAP. She has extensive experience working with both high-dose and low-dose ketamine. She has also published numerous articles on ketamine- and psychedelic assisted therapy.
