Attendees will gain an increased conceptual understanding of the experience of both neurodiversities, ADHD and ASD. They will also learn how perceptual experiences congruent with these diagnoses invariably contribute to individuals’ experience with distress – often in ways that are implicit, unrealized, and also quite often, undetected within the therapeutic setting. They will also learn to determine, in brief, the interplay that co-occurs between neurodivergence and trauma – how both contribute to distress and how to tell the difference.
